Accelerating Developments       International (ADI) has accomplished another first in the world of automotive chassis testing. ADI has applied their vehicle suspension test system known as the KD-Rig to the open-wheel World of Outlaws racing platform. Until now the KD-Rig has only been used in the chassis and suspension diagnostics in NASCAR on the Car of Today as well as the Car of Tomorrow. This new breakthrough will allow open-wheelers to quickly diagnose suspension or chassis related problems. During the first test with the World of Outlaws car, several suspension and chassis related issues were found that had never been detected before. The KD-Rig is also well suited for use on the non-wing sprints, midgets, and silver crown platforms and will rapidly become the next generation in gaining competitive advantages for the open-wheel racing entities.
